Indi-Safe is a South African manufacturer of protective clothing, operating from our Johannesburg factory since 1984. We produce ISO 11612 and ISO 6940 certified heat and flame protective gear, including aluminized foundry wear and flame-retardant garments, alongside hi-vis, waterproof and industrial workwear. With 150+ machine operators producing over 20,000+ garments per month, we supply mining, foundry, steel, construction and industrial clients across Africa, with bulk supply, samples and custom development.

What standards are your protective garments tested to?
Our aluminized and woolen garments are tested to ISO 11612 and ISO 6940. We also issue quality reports with every order for full traceability and compliance. We are happy to assist should you require specific testing or have other certification requirements.
Do you have MOQs?
We cater to both bulk orders and smaller runs. Whether you need large-scale procurement or samples for testing and approval, our team ensures the same high standard of quality and service.
What is your order lead time?
Standard lead times vary depending on the garment type and order size, but we prioritize fast turnaround and efficient reordering systems. Repeat orders can be processed more quickly thanks to our streamlined production workflows.
Can I request product samples before committing to bulk orders?
Yes, we encourage it. Given the nature of certain garments, samples are available at a charge so you can test fit, quality, and compliance, and will be credited should an order follow.
Do you provide customization options?
Absolutely. We can customize garments with branding, fabrics, and specific design modifications to meet company and industry requirements.
Do you export outside South Africa?
Yes. Indi-Safe partners with clients locally and internationally, ensuring compliance with both South African and international PPE standards.
